Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Quality Control processes and procedures tailored to the construction industry, ensuring adherence site specific and industry standards
- Oversee the quality inspection and testing of construction materials and processes to identify defects or safety hazards
- Monitor and analyze quality data to detect patterns and areas for enhancement in project management and safety protocols
- Collaborate with project managers, Quality Control Managers, and site safety and health officers to address quality and safety concerns, implementing corrective measures as necessary
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate compliance with quality and safety standards, including OSHA regulations
- Manage documentation of Quality Control processes, including SOPs and safety protocols specific to construction projects
- Stay abreast of industry developments and advancements in Quality Control and safety practices relevant to construction projects
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in Quality Control management, safety management, or project management within the construction industry
- An understanding of Quality Control principles, practices, and methodologies applicable to construction projects
- Management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in interpreting data and identifying trends related to project management and safety
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on precision and accuracy in Quality Control and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams in construction projects
- Flexibility to work across Quality Control management, and site safety and health roles within the construction industry
- Ability to multitask and adapt to varying responsibilities within any of the specified fields or across all three simultaneously, as needed
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn, with a willingness to take on new challenges and expand skills across different areas
- While not necessarily the most experienced in any one field, the candidate should demonstrate a basic understanding and willingness to grow in all areas as required
