Due to a retirement, the City of Chandler Human Resources Division is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Management Assistant. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits. Once settled in with the team, there will be an opportunity to occasionally work remotely.

Who we are
The City of Chandler Human Resources team, consisting of 24 positions, supports over 2200 full-time, temporary, and part-time employees in all areas of Human Resources, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, labor relations, classification, and compensation, leave management, benefits, wellness, occupational health and safety and organizational development.

Who we are looking for
Our new team member will demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, teamwork, and collaboration, with the ability to adapt swiftly to changing priorities. While reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the new team member will play a pivotal role in offering assistance to Human Resources Managers and their respective teams, spanning various functional areas within the division. This position is essential for coordinating division office functions, overseeing budgets, managing projects, and fostering a positive work environment.
Minimum Experience
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- 4 years of progressively responsible experience providing complex administrative support and management assistance, preferably working in a similar role and department; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Desired Experience
- Human Resources experience
- Exceptional Microsoft office suite and other technology related skills
- Budget and office coordination experience
The position available is regular full-time position and is subject to a six (6) month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for four (4) months should another position become available.
