Management And Program Analyst, Cg-0343-13

This position is located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection, Headquarters of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of planning, analyzing, and/or evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of management, programs, and operations.

Qualifications:

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level or above in the Federal service.  Specialized experience is experience in at least two of the following areas: 1) conducting analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to accomplish projects or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations; 2) planning public events for a financial regulatory agency that involve participation by senior Management and substantive discussion of consumer financial topics, and 3) facilitating the execution of such plans, including briefing executives on operational risks and mitigation strategies.
