PRIMARY FUNCTION
Troy 7, Inc. is seeking someone to serve as a Management Analyst for a U.S. Army Project Office. The candidate will travel up to 15% of the time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist senior program specialists with assessing, preparing, and providing mission short- and long-range goals, mission and personnel calendars, objectives, and initiatives to be presented to senior leadership
- Organize, attend, and participate in organizational staff calls, stand-ups, and project office tag-ups, working groups, ad hoc, IPTs or similar venues; assess action items from meetings and engage in the resolution process; and, propose responses to inquiries based on actions assigned
- Prepare notes or after-action summaries, track actions items, and make recommendations on response for closure
- Maintain internal task tracker, assign tasks to appropriate team members and track to completion
- Assist with daily office operations and prioritization of events based on known activities or guidance provided such as synchronization and integration of events and activities for the Project Office through coordination, consolidation, and collaboration of information
- Maintain daily and operational calendars for Program and Deputy Program Manager
- Create, compose, consolidate, and review documentation, e.g., correspondence, briefings, response to inquiries, and talking points for correctness, format, spelling, and grammar before sending out for approval or signature
- Manage scheduling for Army Leadership
- Draft, review and send communications on behalf of Army Leadership
- Organize and prepare for meetings including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings
- Answer and respond to phone calls and communicate messages and information to Program Leaders
- Coordinate travel arrangements for Leadership utilizing the Defense Travel System (DTS)
- Assist with special projects where multiple functions are involved: coordinating actions, clarifying responsibilities and timelines for completion, consolidating data and reviews to ensure accomplishment of objectives, timeliness, and acceptability.
- Consistently develop and sustain cooperative working relationships and ensure visitor authorization requests (VARS) are prepared
- Assist in the efficient operations/administration of the Project Office
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Previous experience working with and in an office led by high-ranking Senior Leadership
- Experience working internal/external taskers
- Proficient in arranging travel utilizing DTS
- Experience developing information papers and decision briefings
- Experience serving and managing mission/information demands of executive members of the Army or DoD staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Bachelor of Science
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Active Secret Clearance
Desired:
- Active TS/SCI
- Ability to work in dynamic high-paced work environment
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Excellent Organizational Skills
