As the Program Planning and Control (PPC) Manager supporting a major Science and Technology Office project within the Exploration Technologies and Systems Development Division, you will provide leadership, technical guidance, and perform work in all phases of Program Planning and Control including budgeting, scheduling, risk and Earned Value Management. You will lead a team of PPC practitioners in the planning and execution of these responsibilities to meet project deliverables.Qualifications: Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level:
- Leading a project/program or a team of analysts in program, planning, and control to coordinate and monitor the performance for the organization;
- Providing technical analysis and assessment of project resources, investigating critical areas for the purpose of defining technical, budgetary, and administrative challenges;
- Evaluating objectives, plans, budgets, schedules, cost estimates, and/or associated prime contractor reporting, as well as project risk and resources to assess the technical and budgetary progress of project performance.
