Key performance areas
Clean up spills caused by food or beverages, wash windows, mop floors, wipe tables, replace air filters, and maintain a trash and recycling removal schedule in accordance with local pickup times. Their job is to uphold the health and safety of a building's occupants by ensuring proper sanitation and completing chores. They may also complete outdoor chores including mowing green spaces, trimming bushes, and power-washing walls, windows, and sidewalks.
Main Responsibilities
The Custodian cleans and maintains assigned areas to meet Facilities satisfaction and expiations. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by requirements and business needs.
Essential Functions:
• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying
with Osha, state/local, federal, and company regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment
• Properly cleans and maintains multiple areas as assigned
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Frequently removes dust and debris from high and low surfaces
• Completes any paperwork required
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager
• Cleaning the restrooms Kitchenette and office areas. Sweeping, mopping and dusting

• Industrial Cleaning to include high dusting, and cleaning outside decks
Qualifications:
• Previous custodial experience preferred but not required
• The ability to walk or stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and the
ability to climb stairs as needed is required.

• Ability to lift and move over 50 pounds
• Knowledge of different cleaning products and tools
• Time-management and multitasking abilities
• Physical strength and stamina
