Form of workThis position is for our Recycle Plant for Day Shift, Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm.
Starting pay for this position is $20 an hour.
Core Responsibilities:
- Performs minor preventative maintenance, maintenance, and repair activities
- Conducts daily extruder inspection including, but not limited to, filter cleaning, lubrication, oil levels, and condensate pump operation
- Daily mist tank water treatments
- Daily auxiliary equipment lubrications, oil level checks, and inspections
- Daily blending system equipment inspections and lubrications
- Assists Maintenance Technicians with maintenance related functions
- Assists Operations Technicians with maintenance related functions
- Minor facility maintenance/repairs
- Supports workplace organization programs (i.e. 6S)
- Supports production efficiency programs (i.e. TPM)
- Repairs/rebuilds wearable parts
- Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of electro/mechanical equipment
- Troubleshooting ability of mechanical/electrical equipment
- Able to read basic electric/mechanical diagrams
- Must have good assembly skills
- Basic welding ability is a plus
- Background in manufacturing systems in dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upwardly and downward to a wide range of audiences
- Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
- Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED, required; advanced education and/or related certification(s), a plus
- One to three years’ experience in similar position
- Forklift Certification
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
