Starting Wage DOE: $17.38 - 20.42
Under general supervision theincumbent in this position is responsible to maintain grounds, outside buildingand all other properties owned by the CAH facility. Responsible for providingpreventative maintenance on all systems equipment, fire alarm systems, HVACsystems, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems, beds, scales and cosmeticrepairs of hardware and structures. Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems.Performs preventative maintenance, repairs and orders parts and supplies.
Essential Job Functions

Meets all mandatoryorganizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational,departmental, and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment,employee, patient safety, or job performance.
Monitors, operates, inspects,repairs, tests, and maintains the HVAC System.
Performs repairs and preventivemaintenance on all mechanical and other devices on a scheduled basis or asrequested.
Checks the fire protection systemin accordance with established procedures. Conducts the appropriate number offire drills and documents the results.
Maintains carpets and hard floors.
Maintains the grounds of thefacility and other owned properties to promote a safe and professionalenvironment in all types of weather conditions.
Participates in ensuringcompliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Works withinestablished safety guidelines and standards.
Participates in regular on-callschedule rotations.
Identifies needs and sets goalsfor own growth and development; meets all mandatory organizational anddepartmental requirements.
Performs all other duties asassigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
High School or GED, preferred
Experience
One (1) year of general maintenance experience preferred demonstrating knowledge of and experience with mechanical plumbing, electrical systems and boiler operations
Certifications and Licenses
Must hold a valid Montana driver's license
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
