Titan's Affordable Housing division is seeking an experienced Full-time Maintenance Technician for a residential apartment community in Rochester MN. This position performs a wide range of maintenance tasks including non-technical and technical repairs of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, grounds, and equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Monitors, maintains, and performs basic repairs to building electrical systems
• Monitors performance of HVAC systems
• Monitors and performs basic maintenance of plumbing systems
• Performs carpentry maintenance tasks including sheetrock/drywall installation and repair, window replacement, cabinet and countertop replacement, painting and texturing, and door and hardware installation; paints interior and exterior finishes, as appropriate
• May perform general maintenance, custodial, and trash removal tasks
• Performs snow removal, lawn care, & grounds maintenance as needed
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Ideal Candidates will have:

• Graduation from a BUM program preferred and at least 3 years in a similar setting
• Valid drivers license and limited moving violations
• MN Boilers License preferred
• Working knowledge of HVAC repairs
• Ability to repair and maintain appliances and heating and cooling equipment with assistance from licensed professionals
• Troubleshooting skills to determine service needs beyond skill set
• Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
• Knowledge of one or more building trades
• Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade
• Ability to work with minimum instruction and supervision
• Experience performing maintenance in an apartment building environment.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
