Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Hermansville, Michigan
Pay: $21.00 per Hour
What’s the Job?
- Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety maintenance systems. Maintain processes to support the achievement of the company’s business goals and objectives.
- Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
-  Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
What’s Needed?
- Rate of pay $20/hr.  They will train on 1st shift.  Once trained, this employee will also earn $1/hr. shift premium for hours worked on 2nd Shift ($21.00 per Hour).
- Completion of an apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and/or production maintenance experience. An Associate of Applied Science degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus. Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills. Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to solve problems that arise in the shop where no recommendation may exist.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the internet and MS Office 365.
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday with a minimum of 8 hours per day. Note: Availability for overtime and weekend hours may be required for this position.
