Overview Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Enterprise Mobility of Greater Michigan currently has an opening for an experienced Full-Time Building Maintenance Technician. The Building Maintenance Technician will work with the Regional Operations Department to improve the appearance and safety of our rental branches through regular repairs, maintenance, cleaning, and assisting with branch renovations. The primary focus for this position will be at our flagship locations, Alamo Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Enterprise Rent-A-Car throughout Michigan. The position requires a schedule of 45 hours/week with flexibility for evening and weekend hours depending operational and seasonal demands. This position is based out of the Traverse City/Cadiallac Area, and could include daily travel throughout Greater Michigan. The following are supplied: company vehicle and gas card for use during business hours for business needs, tools and a monthly cell phone allowance. Responsibilities Timely completion of work orders generated by call-in requests and scheduled preventative maintenance General maintenance and repair work including:Ceiling tile replacementMinor drywall repairInterior and exterior paintingHardware repairs and installation such as door closers/knobs, fixtures, shelves, locksFurniture repairAlarm updates, TD Safe repairs, programming and installationsSecurity camera installationAutomatic car wash facility maintenance and repairLandscaping, snow plowingPreventative maintenance (changing filters)HVACWindow cleaningCarpet installationNew branch set up (terminals, phones)Electrical repairs/lighting replacementIT: Tele-data wiring, basic knowledge of Microsoft OfficeBasic plumbing repair/knowledgeBasic SDS knowledge and OSHA knowledge and complianceExhibit a professional appearance and comply with all uniform requirementsMiscellaneous duties as assignedEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications High school diploma or GED required1 Years relevant experience. Relevant experience defined as:Trade experience: carpentry, drywall, electrical and/or plumbingHands on general building/facilities maintenance experienceExperience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systemsMust have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office productsAble to lift and carry 50 lbs, climb a ladder up to 10 ft. and operate various power tools, including a forklift.
