Falcon Renew Technician supports the Sales team in warranty repairs, standard service work, after market options, and preparing trade-ins for re-sale market. Looking for a candidate who can fabricate and repair machines by applying appropriate techniques and utilizing various tools to complete the work. We find that individuals who like to work on/rebuild/tinker on automobiles and similar items are usually a great fit for this role.
Starting pay rate for this role is $17/hour. Pay rate is negotiable based on candidate's experience and skill level.
Open to the following work schedules:
- Monday - Thursday from 5:30 am - 4:00 pm, with mandated Friday's as needed from 5:30 am - 2:00 pm., or
- Monday - Friday, 8-hour workdays. Overtime as required.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand
- Some welding experience necessary with the ability to perform MIG and other types of welds based on project needs
- Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness
- Quality control of work to ensure customer satisfaction
- Self-Motivated with the ability to focus attention on work activities and stay on task at a sustained rate.
- Effectively utilizes ERP System (Global Shop) to document all work and inventory
- Overall housekeeping – always keep the work area clean and clear
- De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture
- Must be a team player with individuals in same and all other departments
- Complete all initial and on-going company required trainings per OSHA and Falcon standards

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent attendance record
- Minimum of 2+ years of related experience or may have 0 years of work experience plus an Associate degree, or additional training, or certification in MIG welding
- Must pass internal welding test
- Previous experience using power tools
Safety & Environmental
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling of equipment and parts up to 75 lbs. for up to 10 hours per day
- Standing, sitting, leaning, and squatting up 10 hours per day as required
- Safety glasses up to 10 hours per day required
- All other PPE as required by position required up to 10 hours per day
