Maintenance Technician - 2Nd Shift

Responsibilities:

• Lead Routine Maintenance: Oversee and execute routine tasks on industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues swiftly and efficiently.
• Preventative Maintenance Management: Manage and complete preventative maintenance inspections, ensuring equipment longevity.
• Emergency Response: Swiftly respond to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize production delays.
• Collaborative Improvement: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify process improvements.
• Work Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
• Advanced Tool Use: Effectively use hand and power tools, precision instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
• Safety Adherence: Strictly follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive industrial maintenance experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in troubleshooting and repairs.
• Electrical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and PLCs.
• Fluid Systems Familiarity: Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Team Leadership: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, providing guidance to junior technicians.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, effective interaction at all levels.
• Shift Flexibility: Able to work 2nd (2:45 pm – 11:05 pm) with required overtime.
