JOB SUMMARY
Are you a Maintenance Tech looking to grow with an established company? Have you been searching for the right opportunity or just need to get your foot in the door? Then this may be the company for you. Our client is looking for a Maintenance Tech that’s mechanically inclined and has basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITES
- Performs preventative maintenance, basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic repairs of production equipment, buildings, building systems, mobile equipment, and tooling.
- Performs routine service and scheduled tune-ups on forklifts, including ordering and replacement of parts as needed
- Performs basic building trades including electrical by running conduit and pulling wires, installing phone and computer cables and simple plumbing and carpentry duties
- Operates snow removal equipment, fork lift and high lift as required
- Operates personal computer to update maintenance records
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITES:
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Knowledge of computer, MS Office and data entry skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written necessary
- Welding skills (preferred)
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards preferred
- Ability to operate forklift, high-lift, hand and air tools essential
- Able to use precision measuring instruments
- Must be able to read and understand operators/owner’s manuals
