1st Shift

Pay: $26.44/hr. - $36.16/hr.
Hours: 7:00am 3:30pm, Monday-Friday (Overtime as production demands)

Position Overview:

We have a detail-oriented, proactive, self-starting opportunity to join the Momence Packing Company Maintenance Team as a Maintenance Planner. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of activities as we move forward with our efforts to reach our vision of maintenance excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Create maintenance standard work job plan documents to aid maintenance technicians in efficiently and accurately completing planned work orders.
• Ownership of job plans and sharing effective planning techniques with other Maintenance Planners at Johnsonville.
• Prepare planned weekly maintenance work schedules including preventative maintenance work orders and repair orders for the facility and equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance shift leaders to utilize available maintenance workforce to create weekly and weekend work schedules.
• Communicate with your customers regarding work order status and prioritization based on factors such as Human Safety, USDA/Food Safety, Cost Savings, and Equipment Reliability.
• Data analysis/mining: Analyze component failures, cost data, and preventative maintenance workload adjustments to reduce unplanned failures.
• Timely reporting of
  • Maintenance Scorecard Metrics and track team performance trending
  • Department efficiencies, equipment up-time history, and OEE.
• Work with external contractors as resources are needed to schedule and coordinate jobs that affect multiple parties and team members during weekends and planned shutdowns.
• Effectively maintain and manage Maintenance Work Order backlog with facility needs and department budgeting.
• Ownership of Preventive Maintenance program standard work documents and update them based on feedback from PM audits, PM Optimization workshops, and Technician work feedback.
• Completes kitting for all planned work orders which includes verifying parts, prints and procedures are all available when assigned.
• Help train new members on maintenance work processes in SAP.

Qualifications:

• 3 years prior technical maintenance work experience in a manufacturing facility required.
• Prior demonstrated experience in managing a facility CMMS system and workload, is a plus.
• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Word/Excel and SAP is preferred.
• Demonstrated high organizational skill and sharp attention to detail.
• Demonstrated high skill level in prioritization and multi-tasking.
• Demonstrated ability to be a proactive player on an effective team.
• Highly action oriented, driven work ethic.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree or journeyman card holder preferred.
