Job description
About the Company
RAD Engineered Wood Products was founded locally in 1960, and it got a solid start selling truck flooring to the trailer industry for a few decades. Then the usual thing happened – the company made some money, owners and employees got complacent, and the business lost its edge. The company said, “that’s the way we’ve always done it.”
All of that started to change at RAD 10 years ago, when the current ownership decided there has got to be a better way – to make a wood-and-trucking-industry leading product while employing the top talent in the area. It has taken a few years and many equipment upgrades, but we have finally arrived.
RAD has replaced virtually all of the antiquated machines (again – think going from just an AM radio to an OLED 4K TV) and has backed this up with long-term supply agreements with our customers. We have the business and will have it for years as long as we can hire motivated people like yourself. First shift? We got that. Second shift? That’s just ‘round the corner. The company is growing, and the opportunities are boundless. You just need to hop on board with a positive attitude and your career will grow with us.
