Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team. The Building Maintenance position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the proper functioning and appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine inspections of the building and identify any maintenance or repair needs

- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and carpentry - Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and address any issues in a timely manner

- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems

- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for larger repair projects

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Building Maintenance practices, including facilities maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry

- Proficient in using CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities

- Ability to weld and fabricate as needed for repairs or modifications

- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and find effective solutions

- Strong communication skills to interact with staff, contractors, and vendors

- Customer service-oriented mindset to address maintenance requests promptly and professionally - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
