Fox Hollow Residential Care, a beautiful senior community in the South Hills of Eugene is looking for the RIGHT person to join our Maintenance Department. Fox Hollow strives to provide our residents with the best care and home. The RIGHT person for this position will be hardworking, compassionate for seniors and willing to go above and beyond when needed. The Facility maintenance department oversees all facility related housekeeping and maintenance. The right candidate for this position should be patient with strong interpersonal skills. This role requires both hands on work and supervision of a staff.
Trade experience is a bonus.
Routine tasks include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and disinfecting
- Minor repairs
- Routine life safety inspection and maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Coordination of vendors for necessary work
- Responding to maintenance service requests
- Flipping apartments in a timely manner which may require a specific skill set
- Ability to paint walls and paint trim
- Detail-oriented
- Dealing with customers (residents and families) in a professional and courteous manner
- Assisting care staff in necessary tasks
