Maintenance Director

This senior living community is looking for an outstanding Maintenance Director to ensure that our buildings and grounds are maintained in an attractive, functional, and safe condition. The selected candidate will have experience in a wide range of facility maintenance and repair including, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

1. Implements scheduled maintenance programs, oversees vendors such as ground maintenance, appliance repair, or movers.

2. Responds to maintenance issues in offices and residential buildings, ensuring safety and eliminating fall risks.

3. Assists residents with repair and maintenance issues, hangs decorative items, and other service order requests. Assists with resident moves. Paints and prepares suites for move ins.

4. Troubleshoots and repairs alarm, fire extinguishing, sprinkler, and locking systems.

5. Works with team members in a collaborative manner, ensuring resident and coworker satisfaction.

6. Assists with transportation of residents to and from appointments.

7. Manage and direct a team of housekeepers, and maintenance assistant.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience and training sufficient to assume responsibility of maintaining the physical plant, appliances, grounds, and resident care equipment.

2. Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, emergency power, fire sprinkler, and alarm systems (job-related certifications preferred)

3. Ability to respond to emergency maintenance concerns in a timely manner.

4. Ability to collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and address safety concerns

5. Candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check and have a satisfactory MVR

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
