In addition to supporting the department, the Director, Facilities Maintenance and Operations, assignments will generally fall into one of the following groupings, although overlapping of duties may occur as needed:Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and six years of supervisory/ management experience or a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
- A degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related degree is preferred.
- Highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work with a demanding client base.
- Knowledge of University rules, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of business management practices
- Knowledge of various software and information systems
- Strong public relations skills
- Skilled in professional business writing
- Effective time management, analytical, and organizational skills
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to supervise and direct the work of others.
- Ability to plan, develop, and analyze work procedures
