FULL TIMEMaintenance Assistant at Villages of Jackson Creek in Independence, MO .

The qualified applicant for this position must be able to stand, walk inside & outside in all weather; be able to stoop, kneel, bend, and climb depending on job; be able to do heavy lifting and moving; and is subject to emergency calls. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the Maintenance Director with the following:

• Care, maintain and repair facility property and equipment
• Regular inspection of property and equipment for compliance with safety regulations.
• Handles incoming and outgoing freight, lifts and moves heavy furniture and equipment
• rotating on call weekends

Requirements:
- Must have knowledge of safety regulations pertinent to a Skilled Nursing Facility

- Must have knowledge of supplies and equipment used by the department and the care of the equipment
