Plymouth company seeking a skilled 1st Shift Maintenance worker. 4-Day work weeks! Possibility of overtime!

***MUST BE RELIABLE AND HAVE A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE.***

Maintenance Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $22.00 to $30.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 05:00am to 03:30pm)

• Overtime during the week and weekends.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Learn / improve on all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and preventive maintenance on various high-speed filling and packaging machinery.
• Support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the manufacturing equipment in a safe and orderly fashion.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance. Make necessary repairs and adjustments on machines and equipment during production to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency
• Set-up of manufacturing/packaging equipment
• Fabricate/repair parts by using shop instrumentation and equipment

Maintenance Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Good attendance.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Maintenance Experience: 2 years
• Must possess strong motivation, good judgment, sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Skills:

• Industrial breakdown maintenance experience (packaging equipment preferred)
• Experience working on 110V - 480V AC, wiring panels, breakers, and laying conduit
• Electronics experience that includes PLC and troubleshooting
• Mechanical experience including cam & switches, pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum pumps, conveyors, plumbing
• Welding experience on Stick, MIG, Metal Fabrication
• Complete knowledge of a Lock Out, Tag out program.

Preferred Requirements:

• A two-year technical degree is preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional mechanical aptitude is a must.
• Critical thinking
• Safety mindset
• Flexibility: willingness to change assignments when a line goes down
• Highly motivated, self-directed worker that is able to work autonomously in a fast paced and often loud production environment

• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
