The Maintenance Manager will be supervised by the Pastor with input from the Maintenance Committee and Clerk of Trustees. The position hours are 10-15 hours per week. The work schedule is flexible, but the Maintenance Manager may at times be required to be at the Meetinghouse on weekdays when the Areas of Responsibility listed below require it, AND must be available to meet at the Meetinghouse with staff (the Pastor, Associate Pastor, and/or the Office Administrator) on a weekday designated by staff. Hours worked must be logged by the Maintenance Manager.
Areas of Responsibility
Perform simple repairs and maintenance items
Facilitate and coordinate vendors to perform work on the building and grounds
Facilitate and coordinate building inspections
Work with Trustees and the Maintenance Committee on building issues, upgrades, and maintenance of the following:
· Fire alarm
· Boiler
· Grounds maintenance (excluding mowing and tree trimming)
· Locksmith
· Security
· Plumbing
· Electrical
· Window washing
· Spot painting
Ensure seasonal debris is cleared from exterior drains
Change light bulbs and batteries in smoke detectors
Routine care and maintenance of tools and equipment provided by the Meeting
