Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Mailroom Clerk. As a Mailroom Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail within our organization. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties:
- Load and unload mail from delivery trucks
- Sort and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Prepare outgoing mail for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and arranging for pickup
- Operate office equipment such as postage meters, scanners, and copiers
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist with inventory management of office supplies and materials
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying
Skills:
- Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations is preferred
- Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory tracking is a plus
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in sorting and distributing mail
