SalaryPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The manual machinist will be responsible for manufacturing parts for the inspection services division with NOV- Tuboscope.
- Must be able to operate manual engine lathes and Bridgeport mills, holding tolerance of +/- .001 of an inch.
- Ensure tooling and fixture at machine is maintained and stored in orderly fashion. Keep machine and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance function on equipment.
- Safety minded individual with a strong team focus.
- Perform other work related task as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company, HSE and QTS policies and procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have knowledge and ability to use precision measuring instruments, to accurately inspect finished machined parts, and maintain close machined tolerances.
- Must have full understanding of engineering drawings and be fluent in shop math including trigonometry.
- Minimum 5 year's experience in setup and operation of manual machine tools.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand on their feet for long periods of time.
