*POSITION SUMMARY: *Complete some set-ups and operate various pieces of equipment to meet production requirements. The information provided in this job description is based on cell specific criteria. The primary types of equipment this position is hiring for are Lathe/Multus Machines.

*1st Shift *- 7:00AM to 3:30PM (Monday through Friday)

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
* Do set-up of equipment in a timely and efficient manner to prepare for production run
* Use of some judgment to follow instructions with little or no choice to the procedures.
* Make suggestions with regard to tooling, fixtures, etc. to increase efficiency and provide ideas to improve operations.
* Load/feed machine as required to produce the finished product.
* Keep count of parts and maintain records.
* Perform in-process inspection for dimensions of produced parts and maintain documentation as required.
* Follow specifications and procedures for manufacturing, i.e., process sheets, work orders and any other special instructions.
* Work on various types of equipment as assigned.
* Proper handling of all material, parts and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product.

Employee must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instruction. Can get along with co-workers or peers and respond appropriately to feedback from a supervisor in a professional manner.

*OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Responsible for identifying quality problems in materials.
* Provide accurate and complete turnover from shift to shift.

*MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:*

1. *EDUCATION:* High School diploma, equivalent, trade school graduate and/or minimum experience.

2. *EXPERIENCE: *3 years experience in a manufacturing environment

3. *LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR REGISTRATIONS*: None

4. *OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*: Must possess good written and verbal communication skills with our internal and external customers. Knowledge of equipment. Ability to read prints and use precision measuring equipment. Use of basic mathematics
