Job Description
- High School Diploma/ GED preferred.
- 1 – 3 years of Machine Operator experience required.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Maintain all GMP and Food Safety rules at all times.
- Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust for optimal run.
- Performs adjustments or repairs, such as opening valves, changing formers and sealing jaw knives, setting guides, temperature controls, nitrogen/ oxygen fill ratios, and other machine related functions.
- Take appropriate corrective measures to reduce and eliminate quality issues in a timely fashion.
- Lubricate, sanitize, troubleshoot, make minor mechanical adjustments, and perform preventive maintenance on packaging line as needed.
- Ensure work order schedules are followed correctly and to company protocol.
- Ensure correct labeling of product is managed, as well as, ensuring label data is complete and accurate.
- Operate machinery and job tasks using proper safety practices and protocols.
- Report any unsafe and near-mis incidents to management.
- Comply with all company guidelines, safety protocols, and PPE requirements.
- Work with quality team to ensure product compliance and work order specs are maintained.
- Knowledge of tools, machines, safety precautions in an industrial/ manufacturing setting.

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work on their feet, while using tools to perform repetitive actions
