What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:
- Machine materials to specifications, using machine tools, such as grinders
- Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform machining operations
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, or materials onto machines.
- Lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. consistently with heavier weight necessary at times
- Study blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate materials
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have at least 1 year of previous manufacturing experience (industrial a plus)
- Have a HS Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of overhead crane operation
- Are able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout your shift and sometimes heavier
Schedules and Pay Rate:
- Sunday - Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm w/possible overtime required
- $18.00-$24.00/Hourly & up depending on industrial experience and skills
