Job Description
- Clean and set up manufacturing/packaging equipment.
- Assure appropriate calibration stickers are current.
- Record all necessary documentation in appropriate logbooks and batch records.
- Communicate with IPC Operator and Supervisor on all issues concerning quality, components, and machine performance.
- Palletize completed work and transport to warehouse as necessary.
- Complete downtime log accurately and contemporaneously.
- Assure that all reconciled labeling; e.g. pouchstock, inserts, shipper labels and waste is properly accounted for.
- Communicate mechanical issues and other Production information with incoming and outgoing shifts.
Monday - Friday, hours:
- 2nd Shift: 2:15PM - 10:30PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:15PM – 6:30AM
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 3+ years of machine operation in an FDA regulated environment (pharmaceutical, food, medical device)
- Packaging machine experience a plus
- Basic reading, writing and verbal skills
- Basic mathematic skills
- Able to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, full face/half mask respirator, latex gloves, Tyvek suit and other safety equipment as needed
- Basic use of tools and equipment
- Must possess good manual dexterity and visual acuity
- Standing Majority of Day
- Ability to lift or move 25-49 pounds
