Machine Operator Iv (Turret Truck/Tsp) - 3Rd Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

• Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, or storage racks using the forklift.
  
  • This may involve positioning the forklift's forks under pallets, crates, or other types of containers and lifting them to move or stack the materials.
• Safely transporting materials within the warehouse or distribution center.
  
  • This includes maneuvering the Turret Truck (TSP) through narrow aisles, around obstacles, and properly stacking or shelving the materials according to the storage plan or designated locations.
• Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  
  • This includes following established guidelines for speed limits, load capacities, and pedestrian traffic. You may also be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and conduct before/after operational inspections of the equipment.
• Notify management about unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures in the distribution center.
• Collaborate with management and other members of the warehouse team to ensure that inventory levels are maintained and that orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, removing debris and clutter, and properly disposing of packaging materials.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned -assisting with other warehouse tasks, such as picking and packing orders, conducting inventory counts, and preparing merchandise for shipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is a line contributor job.

• Standing, walking, bending, and squatting most of the time.
• Repetitive motions including pushing & pulling with hands most of the time.

Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
Education and Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of PIT experience operating a Turret Truck within a warehouse environment and experience using a warehouse scan gun.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills are needed.
• Proficiency in reading orders and accurate documentation.
• Adhering to all safety requirements; utilizing a safety-first mindset.
• WMS experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

• Basic knowledge of Warehouse organization procedures.
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• Able to lift and move heavy merchandise items.
• Ability to work on weekends, as needed.

Benefits - $2.00/hr shift differential for 3rd Shift - hours 9:30pm - 6:00am; Sunday night thru Thursday morning.
