JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Machine Detail/Tech Support to join our growing team.
The Opportunity
American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation's largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for a Machine Detail/Tech Support to assist our Manufacturing division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

What You Will Do
- Reporting to the plant manager, the Machine Detail Coordinator is responsible for translating and writing machining specifications for the machining department. This position serves as liaison between the sales department and the machining department and ensures that door specifications written on the production order are properly interpreted on the shop floor. Helps to coordinate production schedule, handles fire label program, orders material and other miscellaneous tasks. Assists occasionally with actual door production on the shop floor. Provide business development support and technical expertise to Sales team.
Who You Are
- Strong Computer skills
- Operate various Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) Routers in support of residential and commercial door manufacturing process.
- Read production tag and interpret proper program to run on machine.
- Detect and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Routinely checks machine setup, tooling and calibration for routing doors and door components.
- Working with 3rd party inspectors to ensure proper fire labels and specifications are met and to company standard.
- Use of Calipers.
- CNC, Alpha cam, Auto Cad experience a plus.

Expected pay for this role is between $44,100.00 to $73,500.00 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
