Dsp (Direct Support Professional) Registered Behavioral Tech. Teen Male

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Provider to join our team in Roseville, CA. This position is ideal for someone like client, who is passionate about fostering meaningful connections within the community and supporting individuals with diverse needs. As a Direct Support Provider, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of the client by providing assistance with various daily activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Community Engagement: Accompany client on outings and community events, such as car races, theme park visits, movies, and outdoor concerts, to facilitate social interactions and shared experiences.

2. Personal Care: Assist client with bathing, restroom needs, and personal hygiene routines, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.

3. Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary preferences and restrictions, including client's favorite foods like pizza, spaghetti, and desserts.

4. Transportation: Provide transportation for client, including mileage reimbursement, to appointments, outings, and activities, ensuring their safety and timely arrival.

5. Behavioral Support: Utilize behavioral training and one year of experience in the field to effectively support clients with behavioral challenges, promoting positive interactions and conflict resolution.

6. Household Tasks: Assist with household chores, including laundry, cleaning clients room/bathroom, and organizing, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for clients.

7. Multi-tasking: Support client who enjoy engaging in multiple electronics activities simultaneously, providing assistance and supervision as needed.

8. Emotional Support: Foster a supportive and understanding environment for client, emphasizing shared activities and experiences to enhance their overall well-being and sense of belonging.

Qualifications:

• Behavioral training and at least one year of experience in the field of Direct Support.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to support individuals with diverse needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with client.
• Flexibility to adapt to the preferences and routines of individual client, including client's interests and hobbies.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with willingness to transport client and receive mileage reimbursement.
• Clean background check

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 39 per week
