M&A Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

Envision Cold is growing rapidly and in search of experienced candidates for the position of M&A Accounting Manager. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• End to end deal support from accounting integration planning prior to deal close day to long term financial ecosystem integration after acquisition.
• Execution of month/quarter end activities for newly acquired subsidiaries related to purchasing accounting, NetSuite onboarding, and establishment of “best practice” processes.
• Serve as primary liaison for acquired entity statutory controllership, reviewing site level accounting and confirming compliance with GAAP.
• Lead the consolidated month-end close process, including reviews and reconciliations of monthly balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare consolidated reporting packages that include a full set of financial statements and analytical review, explanation of significant variances of current financial position, and results of operations against prior period results for both internal and external parties.
• Work with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including consolidated financial statements, to provide insights into the financial performance of acquired entities.
• Collaborate closely with Controller and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of M&A transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout the M&A process.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, systems, and controls to support the company's growth objectives.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance, Economics, or Accounting or similar) required
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in an Accounting/Reporting function
• CPA Preferred
• 2+ Years of Experience with M&A Accounting
• Solid understanding of GAAP and Internal Controls
• Experience with NetSuite, including implementation, highly preferred
• Self-starter who has the ability to lead key accounting and financial processes both independently and as part of a team
