Summary:
• Functions as a member of the clinical care delivery team for a hospital based outpatient department or physician practice.
• Provides designated clinical care to patients under the direction of an LPN , RN, or medical provider.
• Performs clerical/administrative duties associated with front desk operations under the direction of the Practice Manager/Director and/or Site Manager or Office Coordinator.
Duties:
• Medical office setting, primary care preferred, POC Testing (i.e. urinalysis, HgbA1c, pregnancy, flu, COVID, Strep, etc), vaccine administration, blood draw, EKG, Vitals
Requirements:
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.
• AHA Basic Life Support Certificate
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience required
• Medical Assistant certification required
• Prior EKG experience.

• Excellent computer skills, including EMR, word processing and Excel.

Education:
• Specialized Diploma as a Medical Assistant
• Associate's degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
