```Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities:
- Perform patient intake, including measuring vital signs, documenting medical history, and verifying medication allergies
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance documentation
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes
- Educate patients on health conditions, medications, and treatment plans
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assisting program preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic pharmacology
- Proficiency in performing clinical procedures such as taking vital signs and administering injections
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
