For the Medical Assistant Floater position, the job requirements include:
. Be warm and welcoming with every patient.
· Triage patients, take vitals and document chief complaint and history
· Prepare equipment and assist provider during treatment and examination of patients
· Phlebotomy, injections, EKG, basic wound care, and other clinically-related skills
· Perform laboratory tests according to instructions
· Properly start lab equipment daily and perform maintenance and controls as scheduled
· COVID-19 testing
· Working knowledge of EMR software preferred, but not required
· Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
· Create a positive, professional work environment.
· Must have a reliable form of transportation.
· Willing to travel to any centers in a region. This posting is for a FLOATER to go between Cheltenham, Roxborough, Conshohocken, Northern Liberties and Wynnefield.
