You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Industrial Support
Department, Supervisor of Shipbuilding (SUPSHIP) Bath Supply Support Division, Logistics & Configuration Management, Marinette Branch.Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Logistics Management Specialist experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-07 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating knowledge and skill applying policies, procedures and techniques to perform assignments concerning application Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) directives, regulations, laws, and practices. Specialized experience should include the following: 1) Assisting with the review of contracts to ensure Integrated Logistics Support program requirements are met in accordance with established guidance; 2) Providing working knowledge of automated logistics systems to coordinate supply/program support and resolve support issues effectively; and 3) Monitoring the progress of logistics plans, making necessary corrective determinations if deviations are detected.
