Directs and coordinates activities of scheduling incoming and outgoing freight; scheduling of production equipment and raw materials; and manage day to day activities of workers engaged in operating forklifts on all shifts to store and ship products by performing the following duties personally.

- Provide leadership to personnel within the Team to identify opportunities to meet company objectives for creation of value, supply chain improvement and internal/external customer satisfaction.
- Ensure team members are properly trained, retrained, certified or recertified to ensure high quality and safe results
- Ensure all work instructions and processes are current and being followed within the department and update as needed
- Coordinate warehouse and transportation activities and executing transactions within SAP and according to IATF standards
- Prepare international shipping documents
- Manage material supply and storage to support Production
- Interact with all other departments to ensure Production, Quality, R&D, HR and Finance objectives are met with regards to warehouse and transportation
- Provide customer support as needed
- Lead 6S activities in Team to maintain consistent housekeeping and organization
- Coordinate continuous improvement exercises with Team and other dependent departments
- Manage operational escalations and relationships with third party warehouses
- Support Logistics Manager with the operational management of our logistics service providers
- Address all safety issues for equipment assigned to department
- Perform other duties as required or assigned

Education/Experience:
10+ years related experience and/or training; an AA or BS from an accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience with no less than five years of supervisory experience.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should MUST have knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP. Familiarity with document and data management software is a plus.
Certificates and Licenses:
No certifications needed, however, it is expected that internal forklift certifications for sit-down and stand-up lifts are required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises five or more employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
