Logistics Finance Analytics & Reporting Manager

• Develops and maintains reports, dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards to measure high volumes of logistics expenses, accruals, and vendor balances through the use of PowerBI and other tools.

•  Investigates and works to resolve deviations within the accruals, vendor balances, and monthly expenses using various data analysis techniques and software, in conjunction with an accounting specialist.
• Manages an accounting specialist that oversees the day-to-day accounting of the logistics accruals, invoices, and payments.
• Reviews monthly flux analysis for the logistics freight accounts with detailed explanations in accordance with internal audit requirements.
• Presents and supports the monthly flux analysis to logistics and accounting management members.
• Works with management on the budgeting and the costing of logistics related expenditures.
• Ensures compliance with the Company’s Accounting Policies and Procedures for logistics accounting issues to ensure Controller’s department is in compliance with GAAP. 
• Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their superior, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, etc.).; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication; analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills; and detail oriented. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products and experience with accounting software. A broad and deep understanding of data analysis and experience with data analysis tools (Power BI, Alteryx, etc.).

Experience with data analytics and SAP financial software is preferred
