A Leader in the Transportation and Logistics Industry is seeking a full-time Logistics Operations Customer Service Lead.
Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Candidate must have a positive attitude, a 'can do' attitude, and experience leading and motivating others.
Responsibilities include organizing team members to ensure all department duties are covered and goals met. Individual must be able to process bills of ladings, data entry, routing shipments with carriers based on required transit time and service commitments. Individual must also have the ability to label freight, receiving and handling customer calls and requests, and coordinating shipments with vendors.
Individual must be capable of processing documents quickly, have the ability to quickly and efficiently use a computer for data processing and input, and speak English clearly and fluently. Individual must speak clearly, and demonstrate excellent Customer Service support via the phone.
A minimum of 2 years Customer Service with the ability to demonstrate advanced skills with excel required.
Candidate will work side-by-side with all Customer Service representatives performing all department duties.
Fast paced environment requiring attention to details while handling multiple tasks at once. Prior experience with bills of ladings and/or government shipping documentation a plus but we'll train the right candidate that is eager to learn and contribute. Individual must be punctual and have a positive attitude. Hours 8:30am - 5:30pm, M-F. EOE. Company Benefits provided.
