In preparation for our new services under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP), we are currently searching for a full time Logistics Coordinator for a busy warehouse that manages supplies and maintenance of medical equipment used across the country.
- Assist in coordinating the movement of goods, including order processing, shipping, and delivery scheduling “Dispatch”.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track product levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and other necessary paperwork to facilitate efficient transportation and customs clearance.
- Monitor transportation routes and track shipments to ensure on-time deliveries and address any potential delays.
- Communicate with Event Operations to provide shipment status updates and address inquiries or concerns.
- Support the Logistics Director in analyzing transportation costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and optimizing freight rates.
- Assist in managing carrier relationships and negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms and rates.
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments, considering factors like product availability and delivery deadlines.
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, inventory levels, and shipping costs.
- Participate in continuous process improvement efforts to enhance logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies related to logistics and transportation.
