Position Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator/Driver (OSP Tech) is responsible for the timely movement of goods in our facility.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
*Follows and pickup and delivery schedule in preparing material for on time pickups.*Prepare shipping documents using Oracle based MRP system.
*Assemble containers and/or pallets, pack goods to be shipped and attach relevant paperwork.
*Ability to drive a 1 ton van (DOT requirements) and direct delivery trucks while assisting with movement of goods
*Inspect and count items that are received, ensuring accuracy.
*Record shipped and received goods using Oracle system.
*Unpack received goods into appropriate storage areas.
*Trace lost shipments as needed.
*Notify supervisor of any damaged goods.
*Call vendors and carriers to coordinate pick-up and delivery.
*Analyze and update Hold Shelf to maintain tidiness and organization.
*Maintain safe working conditions and keep OSP and related areas clean.
*May be required to operate pallet jack and related stock room machinery.
Education and/or Experience:
*High School diploma.
*Basic to intermediate computer skills.
*Oracle experience helpful.
*Ability to operate a 1 ton van to deliver goods
*Possess good organizational skills.
*Have a courteous, helpful attitude and work well with others.
*Be able to multi-task and prioritize.
*Be able to operate under timeline conditions.
Working Conditions:
*Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
*Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
*Mostly indoors in factory; some outdoor work required for unloading shipments.
*Will be required to work on feet for long periods of time.
