Job Description
- Interface and provide support to Operations/Logistic and management team.
- Central point for daily Shipping activities from QRC Stafford Distribution Center.
- Order management by tracking incoming material on open purchase orders, shop work and/or transfers that are tied to open orders to meet customer on time delivery.
- Prepare all paperwork for International and Domestic Shipments, MTRs, Commercial Invoices and Packing Slips.
- Work closely with QRC Distribution Operations Team to ensure any orders are shipped according to the required ship date.
- Manage third-party shipper account to schedule daily pickup for outbound shipping orders and resolve shipping discrepancies and loss and/or damage claims.
- Notify customers of order readiness and follow up as necessary.
- Direct communication via email/phone with sales in processing of customer orders and shipping requirements. Must be able to address and resolve any unforeseen or seen issues with delivery, packing and/or quality issues.
- Manage the distribution of workload between distribution operations and incoming orders to ensure quickest response to all daily orders.
- Communicate with vendors about delivery schedule, provide BOL and necessary documentation.
- Respond to all communications in a timely manner from inside or outside the organization. Customers come first, use any and all internal resources to provide responses or resolutions to our clients.
- Completes daily receiving entries in ERP and save documentation electronically.
- Scan and save all shipping and receiving documentation electronically.
- Assist with Physical Inventory when necessary.
- Support Corporate Distribution Manager as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma/GED preferred.
- 3+ years of shipping, receiving and logistics coordination required.
- Basic understanding of business goals and practices
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Highly motivated with a positive professional attitude and appearance

- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
