Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Logistics Coordinator - Hospital is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the hospital procedural and surgical supply inventory. This role works collaboratively with clinical management, Materials Management and providers to facilitate operational logistics and inventory levels to meet the needs of the patient and provider, while adhering to fiscal and regulatory guidelines.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required:
- Three years' experience as a surgical technologist, and/or in supply chain operations/logistics within healthcare supply chain management; or
Preferred/Optional:
- Graduate of a surgical technologist program, or military equivalent (taken from required section and moved to preferred)
- Additional education in operations management, supply chain management, or related field.
- Experience in materials management software programs.
