Job DescriptionWhat you’ll do
Come join our team with outbound logistics including cargo preparation, shipping paperwork, and ERP transactions, movement, and tracking. In this role, you will coordinate outbound shipments, assist with shipping documentation, and ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements (including but not limited to transport, trade compliance and customs regulations). You will also determine shipping material’s weights and dimensions, packaging and labeling requirements and fill out Bill of Ladings and packing lists. Responsibilities also include palletizing and securing large bulk material and equipment and loading/unloading freight from flatbed and trailer trucks. Work with Sales and Service teams to reconcile shipping related issues.
QualificationsWhat you’ll bring
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in shipping logistics.
- Knowledge of International, Federal, State, local transportation regulations to include knowledge of safety.
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, and solid MRP system understanding.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
