Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the logistics process from procurement of hardware and software through government acceptance and warranty and maintenance period for an Enterprise Air Force IT program.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Owns the logistics process for the program.
- Works closely with the Procurement team, Deployment Lead and OEM vendors to complete tasks.
- Support the program team to ensure hardware/asset Item Unique Identifier (IUID) labels are accurately documented in DoD and Contract Deliverable Line Item (CDRL) submissions (Asset Management, Product Support Forms, etc.), and in the DoD IUID online registry.
- Coordinates and tracks shipments to CONUS and OCONUS with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) vendors and site personnel (via MilAir as required).
- Serves as the single point of contact (SPOC) for shipments and asset documentation.
- Responds to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels.
- Reports product support information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provides rolling financial forecast to the Program Manager.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of logistics experience in a DoD environment.
- Previous inventory and record keeping experience.
- Experience coordinating asset deliveries and handover to multiple sites at once.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Active Secret clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree.
- Experience with DoD forms (DD1149, AFTO 747, etc.), and Status of Forces Agreements (SOFA) documentation.
- Familiarity with the DoD asset decommissioning process.
