Logistics Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as BOL, invoices and orders to verify accuracy.
• Effectively and professionally communicate with carriers and customers
• Schedule pick up appointments per the customer’s requirements
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting.
• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3+ years of relevant experience within Logistics in third party (3PL)
• Ideally intermodal and rail knowledge
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Strong time management and attention to detail skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Outlook, Word
• Ideally experience working in AS400
