SalaryJob Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator will work to help our supply chain run smoothly by assisting our five warehouses with shipment routing decisions. This person will be working as part of an efficient team interacting with customer service, purchasing, sales and accounting to ensure accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Routing of large orders in the most cost-effective way, while meeting delivery requirements
- Track and expedite carrier orders
- Work with carriers and our warehouses to resolve overage, shortage, and damage issues
- Respond timely to customer service and sales requests
- File carrier claims and manage claim payments
- Understand carrier pricing tariffs to enable proper audit of daily freight invoices
- Run monthly carrier aging reports and work with accounting to keep payables current
- Provide accurate shipping quotes to purchasing, customer service, and sales
- Build positive relationships with other departments and vendors
- Prioritize tasks and work with team members to complete daily workload

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year experience working in an office environment
Familiarity with best practices in supply chain management
Ability to use data in making logistics more efficient
Strong customer service capabilities
Pay range: $18.50 - $29.00/hour (determined by relevant experience) (position is bonus eligible)
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
