Major responsibilities
- Follow guidelines for approving carriers
- Corroborate freight bills and process bills of lading
- Perform various administrative duties
- Screen, track, and foster dispatch & progress of orders on time and to meet delivery requirements
- Notify and plan with inventory and sales management; warehouse; logistics for service changes
- Follow-up with carriers, as necessary- 2+ years' experience with shipping/logistics
- We are seeking candidates with experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation and warehousing functions
- Capacity to operate basic office equipment, complete general office work and route incoming materials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
- Outstanding data entry skills
- Deep understanding of Typing Data Entry
- Adeptness in Customer Shipments
- Earlier work involving Outbound Shipments
- Practical knowledge of Resolve Customer Service
- Customer invoices experience preferred
- Knowledge of Import Export
- Practical knowledge of Supply Chain Logistics
- Customer Quotes experience highly desired
- Demonstrated knowledge of import customer service
- Comprehension of Shipping Functions
- Coordinate Logistics experience highly desired
- Numeric data entry experience required
- Shipping experience highly valued
- Adeptness in logistics & distribution
- International Shipping experience desired
- Background working with Log Shipping
- Data entry experience
- International Shipments experience preferred
- Superior Customer Service experience highly preferred
- Prior experience with Inbound Shipments
- Previous experience working with shipping & receiving
- General familiarity with Logistics Industry
- Experience with Drop Ship
- Demonstrated knowledge of logistics
- Strong familiarity with intermodel logistics
- General familiarity with Resolve Customer Issues
- Foundational knowledge in Global Logistics
- Good understanding of Outgoing Shipments
- Hands-on experience with Export Shipments
