Novus Surgical is a medical device sales company that represents Arthrex. In this role, you'll specifically be working with the arthroplasty platform. Arthroplasty is a surgical procedure which usually replaces a patient's knee or shoulder joint. These procedures require multiple bins of implants and several metal trays filled with surgical instruments. Without the proper instrumentation, the procedures could not go on as planned. POSITION SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the implementation of the logistics plan to support our team. This will require driving Novus’ surgical instruments and implants to different facilities and ensuring they are ready for our customers’ use. After use at a healthcare facility, the employee will be expected to assemble the instrument trays accurately and return those surgical instruments and implants to the respective offices. There will be a daily expectation of documenting the delivery and pick-up of the surgical instruments and implants. A company van will be available for use to transport surgical instruments and implants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Communicate effectively and closely with the sales and operations team to facilitate daily movement of surgical instruments and implants
- Safely, efficiently, and punctually deliver and return arthroplasty surgical instruments and implants to and from health care facilities
- Logistics for additional product category equipment may also be involved
- Work with facilities’ sterile processing departments to pass off trays needed for surgeries
- Learn, in detail, the contents of relevant instrument trays and ensure their completion before leaving a facility
- Work with Operations to assess arthroplasty implant inventory and ensure timely replenishment of used inventory
- Develop meaningful relationships internally and externally, creating channels to help achieve company goals
- Monitor and respond timely to all internal and external communications
- When not actively driving sets or equipment, expectations are to be learning and helping the Operations team
SPECIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Possession of valid driver’s license
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize tasks with consistently strong attention to detail
- Flexible and able to adapt to changes in daily schedule
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Skillful and effective problem solving, decision making, and communication
- Full time, 8a-4p with exceptions based on company need

WORK ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position is based in Lancaster, PA requiring regular local travel within 45 miles of Lancaster, PA. Occasionally, there will be travel approximately 85 miles from Lancaster, PA.
